The Run Away Paperclip
I'll tell you a story about a paperclip
Feed up with all the worlds disasters
Tired of holding everything together
When it felt like everything was falling apart
No longer wanting to keep a hold of the people that tired so hard to make life work on their own terms
It's once shiny sliver skin,
Was nothing more then a rusty mess
Used by those it trusted
But true rust isn't an easy concept to grasp
Especially for a brainless paperclip
We all learn that in order to get trust one must give it
But life was way to big for a tiny paperclip to come to terms with
See now the story will take a shocking but right turn
For that same paperclip had a plan
It decided it must run
So it ran
Up the grassy hill
And across the busy New York highway
And into old lady Miler's recycling bin
Where the same lonely and used paperclip,
found many other run away paperclip friends
And lived happily ever after again
